You can delete your Pulse account, and the data in it, at any time. You do not need to contact us first.
Sign in, then go to Settings → Delete my account. We email a confirmation link to the address on your account; the deletion happens only when you open that link and type your business name. The link is single-use and expires after 30 minutes, so nobody else can delete your account from a device you left signed in.
Everything you entered to run your business: every property, room, resident record, payment, bill, expense, complaint and document — including any uploaded identity documents and photographs — along with your login and the logins of any managers or partners you created. An active subscription is cancelled immediately. This is permanent and cannot be undone.
We keep the invoices we issued you for your Pulse subscription, with your name, email address and postal address removed, so that only the financial record remains (amount, dates, plan). Tax and accounting law requires us to retain that record; it can no longer be linked back to you. Nothing else is retained.
Encrypted backups taken for disaster recovery may still hold a copy for a limited period after deletion. They are rotated and overwritten on a schedule, after which no copy of your data remains, and they are never used to restore a deleted account.
Resident and staff information you entered belongs to your business — you are its controller and we only process it for you. Deleting your account deletes that information too. If you are a resident of a hostel that uses Pulse and want your own data removed, contact the hostel operator directly; they control it, not us.
Email hello@yourpulse.io from the address on the account and we will verify you own it and delete it for you, normally within 7 days and at most within 30.
